"We wanted to clarify the environment of Czech aesthetic surgery to the general public and to assist people when choosing the most suitable surgeon or clinic," says Pavel Hilbert, Hilcom's executive manager. "Another goal was to determine the riskiest approaches to having a cosmetic plastic surgery abroad." Hilbert tallied. As for the benefit to the medical community, this study reflects a panoramic range of conceivable views on circulating issues of cosmetic plastic surgery, identifies some system deficiencies and tries to cause solutions. Annual comparison of the number of clients in 2006/2007 was another slanted goal of the study.
The research team conducted the study over three months, from March to May 2008. Forty-five licenced plastic surgeons from all over the Czech Republic modified to the research. Conducted and released in the Czech Republic, this study is the first of its kind
